The Jason Fox (JF) Raja Rampage Chalice (Echinophyllia sp.) is a legendary designer LPS coral that stands as a holy grail piece for chalice collectors. Named after master reefer Jason Fox, this morph is famous for its wild, high-contrast palette. It features a brilliant mint to emerald-green tissue base heavily marbled with dramatic streaks of deep violet, purple, and magenta, all studded with vivid neon orange or pink oral eyes.
Its marbled, painted appearance gives it a distinct “graffiti” look that makes it instantly recognizable in high-end reef displays.
Coloration: Electric mint/emerald green base heavily mottled with deep purple, magenta, and plum streaks, anchored by bright neon orange or reddish eyes.
Growth Pattern: Plating / Encrusting (forms flat, sweeping plates or hugs the contours of underlying rockwork). Sold as a frag on a 0.5 – 1 inch frag plug.
Lighting: Low to Moderate (PAR 75–125).
Water Flow: Low to Medium (Gentle, indirect current).
Feeding: Receptive to nighttime target feeding; extends fine sweeper/feeder tentacles for coral powders, fine mysis, or liquid amino acids.
