The Glow Stick Acropora (Acropora caroliniana / “smooth skin” strain variant) is a prized, high-end Small Polyp Stony (SPS) coral celebrated for its radioactive visual pop and sleek skeletal anatomy. Featuring smooth, glass-like tissue structure with minimal radial corallites, this strain displays a brilliant electric yellow-green to lime branch core capped by hyper-fluorescent yellow axial growth tips that glow intensely under heavy actinic lighting.

Coloration: Electric chartreuse to lime-green smooth coenosteum (tissue), terminating in glowing neon-yellow axial corallites and subtle turquoise or mint undertones toward the basal encrustation.

Growth Pattern: Branching and Staghorn-like (forms delicate, smooth-skinned upright branches with sweeping, tapered growth tips). Sold as a frag on a 0.5 – 1 inch frag plug.

Lighting: Moderate to High (PAR 250–400).

Water Flow: Moderate to High (Strong, multi-directional turbulent current to deliver nutrients across smooth tissue and prevent detritus accumulation).
