Green Goblin Anacropora

The Green Goblin Anacropora (Anacropora sp., often lineaged by Top Shelf Aquatics or World Wide Corals) is an iconic, ultra-bright Small Polyp Stony (SPS) coral celebrated for its unusual skeletal structure and high-voltage fluorescence. Considered one of the easiest, fastest-growing branching stony corals in the hobby, this designer cultivar features radioactive neon-lime to chartreuse branches covered in raised, bumpy corallite nodes that house contrasting pale green, teal, or soft blue polyps, finished with glowing pale yellow-green axial growth tips.

Coloration: High-voltage radioactive lime-green to chartreuse skeletal branches, accented by contrasting mint-green, teal, or soft blue polyps and bright pale green axial growth tips.

Growth Pattern: Arborescent / Delicate Branching (forms an intricate, highly branched matrix of thin, brittle stalks that spread rapidly without forming a heavy encrusting base). Sold as a frag on a 0.5 – 1 inch frag plug.

Lighting: Moderate (PAR 150–250).

Water Flow: Moderate to High (Randomized, multi-directional flow to keep detritus from settling within its fine, web-like branches).

Feeding: Photosynthetic; extends fine micro-polyps day and night to capture liquid amino acids, micro-plankton powders, and fine particulate SPS feeds.

Aggressiveness: Peaceful / Defenseless (lacks stinging sweeper tentacles; relies on rapid growth, but easily stung or overgrown by neighboring aggressive LPS or soft corals).
