The White Eye Micromussa (Micromussa lordhowensis, formerly Acanthastrea lordhowensis) is an exquisite, high-contrast Large Polyp Stony (LPS) coral celebrated for its crisp visual definition and dramatic center focus. This prized morph features plush, fleshy corallites with deep crimson, violet, or emerald-green outer mantles, framing a stark, glowing chalk-white central disc and mouth that immediately draws the eye under both daylight and blue actinic lighting.

Coloration: Deep crimson, violet, or emerald-green outer tissue rings, surrounding a bright, contrasting chalk-white central disc and corallite mouth.

Growth Pattern: Fleshy Colonial Mat (forms dense clusters of rounded, padded polyps sharing low skeletal walls that expand into thick, cushion-like domes).

Lighting: Low to Moderate (PAR 50–125).

Water Flow: Low to Moderate (Gentle, indirect sweeping current to allow full, pillowy tissue expansion).
