The Ultra Rainbow Echinata (Acanthastrea echinata) is an intensely saturated, razor-sharp LPS coral celebrated for its explosive, multi-colored bands and aggressive visual presence. Characterized by dense, jagged corallites and thick, rugose tissue, this high-end morph features a dizzying array of neon colors—blending concentric rings of fiery red, golden yellow, neon lime-green, cyan, and deep purple that bleed outward from a glowing center mouth.
Unlike smoother Micromussa or Bowerbanki species, the Echinata has a distinctly spikey, textured appearance under close inspection.
