Blue and Green Yuma Mushroom

The Blue and Green Yuma Mushroom (Ricordea yuma) is a captivating, cool-toned variant that adds depth and a calming contrast to the lower level of a reef aquarium. Opposite of the green-dominated morphs, this coral features a rich blue to deep indigo disc accented by teal vesicles (bubbles) scattered across its surface and around its raised mouth.

Its dense, bubble-like texture and cool blue tones make it a favorite for aquarists looking to balance out hot pinks, oranges, and purples in their display.

Coloration: Deep indigo or royal blue disc base covered in teal vesicles, anchored by a  contrasting green oral cone.

Size: 1-2 inches

Lighting: Low (PAR 50–100).

Water Flow: Low to Gentle.

Feeding: Photosynthetic, but absorbs dissolved organic nutrients and fine particulate coral foods.

Aggressiveness: Semi-aggressive (will sting neighboring corals if permitted to touch them directly).
