Jedi Eye Zoa

The Jedi Mind Trick Zoa (often referred to in collector circles as the Jedi Eye Zoa, Zoanthus sp.) is a legendary, high-contrast designer zoanthid named after the iconic Star Wars-inspired palette. Known for its intense color saturation and striking visual depth, this morph features a deep metallic teal to emerald-green face disc anchored by an electric red to fiery-orange oral center ring, all framed by a fringe of long, pulsing rust-red to bright coral skirt tentacles.

Its dark, alien-like center paired with a glowing neon ring gives it an undeniable “hypnotic” aesthetic under blue actinics.

Coloration: Deep metallic teal or forest-green face disc, glowing hot-orange to crimson center ring around the mouth, bordered by long rust-red to coral-pink  to greenish – teal skirt tentacles. Sold as 2-3 polyps.

Growth Pattern: Colonial mat (encrusts rapidly over rockwork, plugs, or sandbed rubble, forming dense, seamless carpets).

Lighting: Low to Moderate (PAR 75–150).

Water Flow: Low to Medium (Gentle to moderate sweeping current).

Feeding: Photosynthetic; optional spot-feeding with fine coral powders or liquid aminos will boost budding speed and polyp extension.

Aggressiveness: Peaceful (can safely intermingle with other Zoanthus species in mixed zoa gardens).
