Mad Raver Zoa

The Mad Raver Zoa (Zoanthus sp.) is a wild, ultra-fluorescent soft coral that looks straight out of a neon light show. Loved for its high-energy, eye-searing color combination, this morph features a glowing orange to yellow center with a contrasting magenta or purple outer disc, all wrapped in a wild, high-contrast skirt that practically glows in the dark under actinic blue LEDs.

Coloration: Neon orange/yellow core, deep pink to purple outer disc, and bright green or mottled skirt.

Growth Pattern: Mat-forming/Colonial (forms dense, spreading carpets over rockwork).

Lighting: Low to Moderate (PAR 75–125).

Water Flow: Low to Medium (Gentle, indirect current).

Feeding: Optional; benefits from micro-pellets, fine mysis, or coral amino acids.

Aggressiveness: Peaceful (lacks stinging sweeper tentacles).
