Fruity Pebbles Acropora

Overview

The Fruity Pebbles Acropora is widely considered the “holy grail” for many SPS (Small Polyp Stony) collectors. It is a stunning, high-contrast Acropora variety that features a complex, multi-colored skeleton and vibrant, contrasting polyps. It mimics the look of a bowl of multi-colored cereal, with a base that shifts from creamy yellow to pink, accented by brilliant neon green or purple polyps.

Coloration: Multi-colored base (yellow/cream/pink) with contrasting vibrant polyps (neon green or deep purple).

Growth Pattern: Branching (forms an intricate, tree-like structure). Sold as a frag on a 0.5-1 inch frag plug.

Lighting: High (PAR 300–450+).

Water Flow: High (Turbulent, unpredictable flow is essential).

Feeding: Moderate; benefits from amino acids and fine zooplankton.

Aggressiveness: Moderate (does not have long sweepers, but will overgrow neighbors).
