The Red TNT Anacropora (Anacropora sp.)—often distributed by World Wide Corals and top SPS propagators—is a high-octane, spineless Small Polyp Stony (SPS) coral celebrated for its explosive color contrast and delicate growth habit. Closely related to Acropora, this distinct species features smooth, slender branching structures in a rich reddish-orange to bright crimson coenosteum, heavily studded with glowing, radioactive neon-green polyps that pop dramatically under blue actinic lighting.

Coloration: Vibrant crimson-red to fiery orange-red skeletal tissue, densely dotted with contrasting neon-green polyp tentacles.

Growth Pattern: Fine-Branching / Arborescent (forms delicate, thin, interlocking branches that push outward in a bushy, lattice-like structure without forming a heavy encrusting base). Sold as a frag on a 0.5 – 1 inch frag plug.

Lighting: Moderate to High (PAR 150–250).

Water Flow: Moderate to High (Requires strong, multi-directional flow to keep its fine, dense branch lattice clean of detritus).

Feeding: Photosynthetic; extends polyps continuously to capture liquid amino acids, fine micro-plankton powders, and SPS particle feeds.

Aggressiveness: Peaceful / Extremely Fragile (lacks stinging sweeper tentacles and has very delicate branches that break easily if physically bumped).

Care Level: Easy to Moderate (Significantly hardier and far more forgiving of parameter fluctuations than true Acropora species).
