The WWC Copperhead Cyphastrea (Cyphastrea decadia / Cyphastrea sp.) is a standout, signature designer morph lineaged by World Wide Corals, prized for its unusual metallic warmth and intricate skeletal detail. Moving away from typical neon greens and blues, this high-end collector piece features a dense, metallic coenosteum (base tissue) in shimmering copper, bronze, or rust-orange, strikingly studded with raised, highly defined corallite eyes in contrasting ice-blue, mint, or soft cyan.

Coloration: Shimmering metallic copper, bronze, or rust-orange base tissue, dotted with raised, contrasting ice-blue to mint-cyan corallite eyes.

Growth Pattern: Encrusting or Branching (depending on growth form; forms dense, tight-fitting encrusting mats over rockwork or plugs, occasionally pushing out stubby, knobby branches in mature colonies). Sold as a frag on a 0.5 – 1 inch frag plug.

Lighting: Low (PAR 50–100; highly shade-tolerant).

Water Flow: Low to Moderate (Gentle, indirect sweeping current).

Feeding: LPS/SPS micro-feeder; extends tiny, delicate feeding tentacles around each corallite eye at night to capture fine particulate powders, micro-plankton, and amino acids.

Aggressiveness: Semi-Aggressive (lacks long sweeper tentacles, but will encrust rapidly over neighboring sessile corals and sting anything it touches directly).

Care Level: Easy to Moderate (Exceptionally hardy once established; one of the easiest SPS/LPS crossover corals for low-light tank areas).
