The Space Monkey Favia (Dipsastraea / Favia sp.) is a wild, cosmic-looking brain coral that brings a vibrant, alien feel to the reef bed. Known for its glowing, multi-ringed corallites, this morph typically features a purple mouth with a cobalt, or cyan inner ring, all set against a contrasting neon green outer maze.
When fully open at night, its plush, swollen mantle folds seamlessly into a dense, glowing carpet of color.

Growth Pattern: Encrusting to massive (forms solid, rounded brain-like domes or encrusts smoothly over rockwork). Sold as a frag on a 0.5 – 1 inch frag plug.
Lighting: Moderate (PAR 100–175).
Water Flow: Low to Medium (Gentle, indirect flow).
Feeding: Highly receptive to target feeding; extends feeder tentacles at night for micro-pellets, mysis, or coral foods.
